Victor Rivera, Esq.

Victor Rivera is an Immigration attorney, and is the founder of  Rivera Imigration, PLC. He practices in all areas of immigration law with a focus on asylum, temporary protected status, removal defense, and family based petitions. Growing up bilingual in Spanish and English in Puerto Rico, Victor developed a passion for immigration law.


Victor graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, where he focused on Criminal and Immigration law during his law school studies. He also participated in the Cyberlaw clinic and was a member of the Latino Law Students Association.


Victor received a B.A. in International Studies with a focus on Japanese language and Society from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA.


Prior to starting Rivera Immigration, PLC, Victor was an attorney in Puerto Rico and Washington State, where he was licensed to practice in 2011 and 2013 respectively. His main areas of focus were civil and immigration law, mainly cancellation of removal and defensive asylum. He is also a certified Washington State Department of Social and Health Services English/Spanish translator.


Victor currently lives in Richmond, Virginia; was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and resided and studied in Seattle, Washington. He is the father of two boys. Victor is trilingual in English, Spanish, and Japanese.
